In order to receive our newsletter, you only need to enter your email address. If we request further personal data when you register for the newsletter, this data will be used exclusively for this purpose in order to make our newsletter more personal.
To ensure that the subscriber also has the correct email address, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure for our newsletter. In this process, a confirmation email is sent to the addressee after registration in order to confirm this again. This ensures that no third party has requested the newsletter for you.
Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties or used in any other way. The data will only be used for the newsletter for which you have registered.
You have the option to revoke the storage and sending of our newsletter to your email address at any time. At the end of our newsletter you will find a suitable link to make this revocation. So-called "cookies" are also used on our website. Cookies are not text files that are transferred from our system to your hard drive. Through these cookies, we automatically receive certain information. This could be, for example, your IP address, the browser you use to access our website, your operating system and other data.
Cookies are generally used to make it easier for the user to use the website and to enable a perfect display of our services. Cookies cannot start any programs or even transmit viruses to your system.
Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent. Once cookies have been set, you can delete them yourself at any time by calling up the corresponding menu item in your internet browser or deleting the cookies on your hard drive. To protect the transmission of your data, we use appropriate encryption on our website (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
(6) Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
The purposes of the data processing are to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Other related services are then to be provided based on the use of the website and the internet. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website.
(7) Google Adwords
Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set on your computer by Google Adwords. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, by means of a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or by setting your browser in such a way that cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com" are blocked.
Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want any measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
(8) Xing
Our website uses the "Share Button" from XING. Therefore, when you call up this website, a connection is established via your browser to the servers of XING AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. This is how the share functions (e.g. the display of the counter value) are provided. No personal data relating to your visit to this website is stored. In particular, no IP addresses are stored by XING. Your usage behaviour is also not evaluated. The current information on data protection with regard to the "Share Button" as well as other relevant information in this regard can be found under XING's Privacy Policy.
(9)Twitter
Functions of the Twitter service are integrated on our pages. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. By using Twitter and the "Re-Tweet" function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. In the process, data is also transmitted to Twitter. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter. You can find more information on this in Twitter's privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy.

LinkedIn thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn "Recommend Button" while logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages on your LinkedIn profile. This enables LinkedIn to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. (11) Google+
Our website uses the "+1″ button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google"). The button is recognisable by the "+1″ sign on a white or coloured background.
When you call up a web page of our website that contains such a button, your browser establishes a direct connection with Google's servers. The content of the "+1″ button is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated by it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Google collects with the button, but assume that your IP address is also recorded.
For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your rights in this respect and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Google's data protection information on the "+1″ button: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html

The plugins are recognisable by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin".
When you call up a web page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge.
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store your IP address.
For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and link it to your membership data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the "Facebook Blocker".

Our website embeds YouTube videos. The embedded clips place cookies on the user's computer when the page is called up. Those who have deactivated the setting of cookies for the Google advertising programme will not have to expect any such cookies when calling up YouTube clips. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must have this blocked by the browser.
