Licensing
There are basically two different types of licenses for JetBrains products: Commercial and Personal licenses.
- Commercial licenses are designed for use in a company.
- Personal licenses are only available for private individuals and individual developers.
The licenses are delivered as an annual subscription. After one year, the subscription can be extended for a further year.
JetBrains releases three major versions per year, which are free with a valid subscription. Volume discounts are available for 10 or more licenses.
JetBrainsLicense Server
The JetBrains License Server is available free of charge from 50 licenses. This web application enables the management of floating licenses and the most effective distribution of licenses to the team.
