Nevis strengthens CIAM distribution in the DACH region: SOS Software Service becomes Value Added Distributor
Augsburg, March 18, 2026 – Nevis is expanding its partner ecosystem in the DACH region in a targeted manner and has gained SOS Software Service GmbH as a value-added distributor. The aim of the partnership is to systematically build a specialized CIAM channel for managed service providers (MSPs) and resellers. The background to this is the growing strategic importance of digital identities: regulators are tightening the requirements for the verifiability of access, while attacks are increasingly targeting identities rather than systems.
Customer identity and access management has evolved from a login function to a strategic component of digital business models. With the shift of interactions to portals, apps and platforms, the requirements for secure registration, robust authentication and controlled authorization are increasing. Modern CIAM architectures combine security, governance and user experience, especially in regulated industries and complex B2B or platform scenarios. Identity thus becomes an infrastructure component that fulfills compliance requirements and at the same time enables digital growth.
Scalable channel expansion in the DACH market
SOS Software Service is taking on a central role in the expansion of the Nevis partner ecosystem in the DACH region. The focus is on the targeted identification, qualification and activation of specialized system houses and managed service providers. The aim is to systematically build a powerful network that brings CIAM projects to the market in a structured manner and provides long-term support.
As a value-added distributor, SOS Software Service accompanies its partners along the entire sales journey: from demand generation and presales to proof-of-concept phases and quotation processes through to training, certification and technical support. Nevis is the only provider of customer identity and access management in the company’s distribution portfolio and is expanding it to include an independent growth area in the identity market.
Regulation increases demand for resilient identity infrastructure
In addition to rising expectations of user-friendliness, regulatory requirements such as NIS2, DORA and the Cyber Resilience Act are increasing the pressure on companies to manage identities and access in a structured, traceable and auditable manner. Reliable processes are required that clearly document who accesses which resources under which conditions.
Regulated industries and operators of digital platform and B2B models in particular therefore need identity solutions that consistently combine security architecture and business strategy and sustainably secure compliance requirements.
With their joint channel approach, Nevis and SOS Software Service are particularly targeting regulated and digital industries such as financial services, healthcare, e-commerce, automotive, telecommunications, public administration and energy supply, as well as operators of complex platform and B2B business models.
Strategic perspective from the company’s point of view
Adnan Garip, VP Sales at Nevis, explains: “Today, digital identities are the central attack and control layer of modern business models. Those who do not strategically secure identity are jeopardizing scalability, compliance and customer experience at the same time. With SOS Software Service, we are expanding our partner ecosystem in the DACH region in a targeted manner and creating the conditions for sustainably anchoring CIAM as a cornerstone of modern identity architectures in the channel.”
Miro Milos, Business Division Lead Security & Infrastructure at SOS Software Service, adds: “CIAM gives MSPs the opportunity not only to implement identity infrastructures, but also to operate and develop them on a permanent basis. This creates predictable, recurring revenue models. With Nevis, we are gaining a specialized provider that consistently combines security architecture and user experience and opens up new strategic business potential for our partners.”
In the coming months, the focus will be on acquiring new partners, their structured enablement and the development of a robust project pipeline in order to permanently establish CIAM as a mainstay of modern identity architectures in the channel.
