Establishment of the IT Security & Infrastructure business unit – SOS Software Service strengthens its position in the DACH market
Augsburg-based SOS Software Service GmbH is setting an important strategic milestone with the establishment of the new IT Security & Infrastructure business unit, thereby strengthening its position as a specialized value-added distributor in the DACH market. The aim is to provide vendors and resellers with a high-performance, future-oriented portfolio and comprehensive services.
Miro Milos will be responsible for the development and management of the new business unit. Together with Managing Directors Alexander Wacker and Philipp Niemann, he will develop the content and structured expansion of the business unit. The focus will be on innovative IT security and infrastructure solutions, supplemented by a significantly expanded range of services.
Alexander Wacker, Managing Director and Head of Sales at SOS Software Service GmbH, emphasizes: “With the new business unit, we are creating a clear organizational basis to provide even more targeted support to vendors and resellers in the IT security and infrastructure sector. Our aim is to offer a balanced mix of established vendors and innovative software solutions in the DACH market – and to actively develop this mix.”
In parallel with the expansion of its portfolio, SOS Software Service is making targeted investments in the expansion of additional services. These include comprehensive after-sales services such as installation and configuration support, technical support as well as maintenance and servicing services. The offering is complemented by classic business development services, including MSP and VAR demos, pre-sales support, funded heads, health checks and other vendor and partner-specific programs.
