SOS Software Service Expands Its Backup and Cyber Resilience Portfolio with NovaStor
Augsburg, July 28, 2026 – SOS Software Service GmbH and NovaStor are launching a sales partnership. By adding the Hamburg-based software manufacturer to its portfolio, SOS Software Service is specifically expanding its offerings to include solutions for cyber-resilient data backup, recovery, and business continuity. Specialty resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers will now have access to NovaStor DataCenter and NovaStor DataCenter Evolve—NovaStor’s backup solutions, which are developed in Germany and help companies protect critical data and recover quickly after outages. Technical and commercial support for partners in developing secure backup solutions for businesses, public institutions, and operators of critical infrastructure is also provided directly from the Hamburg office.

With NovaStor, SOS Software Service is expanding its portfolio to include data backup and recovery software that helps organizations reliably protect their data and quickly restore it following cyberattacks, system failures, or other disruptions.
The portfolio includes the NovaStor DataCenter and NovaStor DataCenter Evolve solutions. They enable the protection of heterogeneous IT infrastructures across various storage technologies—from disk and tape to the cloud. In addition, they support modern virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix, as well as numerous other workloads, within a unified backup strategy.
