Three students founded SOS in 1987. Today, we’re a team of over 80 people and one of the leading software distributors in the DACH region, with vendors from all over the world in our portfolio.
And you’ll be right in the thick of it: From day one, you’ll work on real deals, talk to vendors from the U.S. or Scandinavia, and manage your own clients. Sound like a lot? It is. But that’s exactly how most of our team leaders got their start, as apprentices.
Trainees are the next generation of our workforce. Through appreciation, support, and respect, we create an environment where young talent can grow and flourish. The first few years are especially crucial. That’s why we offer you:
Working models
30 days of vacation, plus time off on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Flexible work hours, well-equipped workstations, and air-conditioned offices. All apprentices are represented by an elected apprentice representative.
Career development
At SOS, an apprenticeship is the start of a career: 4 out of 5 team leaders started as apprentices at SOS, and over 60% of our Product Champs and Key Account Managers completed their apprenticeships with us. We also offer regular feedback and development meetings, support with vocational school, the option to shorten the apprenticeship — and a 98 percent retention rate.

Here’s what you need to do if you’d like to start your apprenticeship with us:
