Miro Milos leads the development of the IT security business

Miro Milos, an old acquaintance, is responsible for building up the IT security solutions business at the Augsburg-based software VAD SOS Software Service.

“We never lost sight of each other. And when Philipp Niemann and I decided to expand distribution to include cybersecurity solutions, Miro seemed like a natural choice,” recalls Alexander Wacker, Managing Director at VAD SOS Software Service.

Miro Milos has been back in Augsburg since August. As Business Division Lead Security & Infrastructure, he is responsible for the development and expansion of the cybersecurity and infrastructure software business. They have known and appreciated each other for many years. From the time when Miro Milos was Head of Sales at Paragon. From 2015 to 2017, he previously worked for SOS Software Service as Head of Marketing and Business Development on an interim basis.

“I enjoy building something new,” says Miro Milos. “I was immediately enthusiastic when Alex and Philipp told me about the plans of the new management team at SOS Software Service.” The goal: to establish SOS Software Service as an agile and vendor-oriented VAD in the cybersecurity market with an expanded service portfolio.

“Our customers and many vendors are signaling to us that there is a need for an independent security VAD in the DACH market. Lean, fast, competent. We will close this gap,” explains Philipp Niemann, Managing Director of SOS Software Service. As an owner-managed VAD, we can act more flexibly than companies with a corporate background.

In the meantime, the manager has reviewed the existing portfolio and entered into talks with existing partners and potential new vendors. “Our story has been very well received in the market,” explains Miro Milos. This is why his first official appearance at it-sa in Nuremberg was a great success. “We will soon be able to announce the first new manufacturer contracts,” says the new management team happily.

Before joining SOS Software Service, he worked for six years as Director Business Unit Security at the Munich-based VAD Prianto.
