An Augsburg-based specialist with nearly 40 years of distribution experience and more than 3,000 specialty retail partners will distribute the entire DataCore portfolio going forward
Augsburg, August 18, 2026 – DataCore, a leading provider of data infrastructure and management solutions, has partnered with SOS Software Service GmbH as its new distributor for the DACH market. The Augsburg-based company, which has specialized in professional software distribution since 1987, will now distribute the entire DataCore portfolio through its network of more than 3,000 specialized retail partners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The collaboration began with the joint sales of StarWind solutions and has now evolved into a comprehensive distribution partnership. SOS Software Service is bringing the complete DataCore portfolio—ranging from software-defined block, file, and object storage to hyperconverged infrastructures and solutions for business continuity and cyber resilience—to the DACH channel.
SOS Software Service’s commitment is also evident at this year’s DataCore Days. The company is sponsoring the partner conference, which will take place on September 28 and 29, 2026, at the Palma Convention Center in Mallorca.
