The manufacturer Paessler has changed the licensing of PRTG Network Monitors. We have compiled all the relevant information for you.

At the end of the three years, the subscription is automatically extended for a further year. By switching PRTG Network Monitor to subscription-based licensing, the license models for all products have been standardized. This has opened up the possibility of combining them according to customer requirements.

Previously, it was possible to purchase the PRTG Network Monitor product as a perpetual license with a maintenance contract. Since July 2024, Paessler has changed the license model to subscription with a term of three years and annual payments. (Full invoicing/payment can also be made possible at the customer’s request).

As part of this licensing change, Paessler has also adjusted the prices for PRTG Hosted Monitor licenses.
