SOS Software Service announces distribution agreement with NAKIVO
Augsburg, May 27, 2026 – The Security & Infrastructure business unit at Augsburg-based VAD SOS Software Service has gained a new manufacturer partner. The team led by Alexander Wacker and Philipp Niemann is now selling products and solutions from cybersecurity provider NAKIVO.
“Our potential in the DACH region is huge. Today, we are not even beginning to realize it. That’s why the partnership with SOS Software Service is so exciting for us,” explains Sam Sakhno. As Channel Partner Manager at NAKIVO, he is responsible for business in the DACH region. The two companies have known each other for some time and do business together. At it-sa 2025, they decided to expand their collaboration. With around 500 registered partners, NAKIVO has a solid basis for further growth.
NAKIVO is listed as an Honorable Mention in the Gartner Magic Quadrant “Enterprise Backup and Recovery Software Solutions” and was recognized in the Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer Report. Numerous corporations such as Honda, Siemens and Radisson Hotels are among its customers. Nevertheless, the solution is considered an insider tip in the DACH region: enterprise-class technology at a price that is suitable for SMEs.
“NAKIVO is of particular interest to our MSP and MSSP partners as a provider of secure, managed backups,” explains Miro Milos, Business Unit Lead at SOS Software Service. The vendor specializes in backing up virtual environments and supports all common hypervisor technologies on the market. The solutions are multi-client capable, technically state-of-the-art and attractively priced, even for medium-sized MSPs: “NAKIVO provides our MSP partners with affordable, reliable tools that enable them to offer high-margin managed services.”
